Did this keep me at the edge of my seat? Yes. But I reallyyyyy was not happy with how it ended. In general, I love an enemies to lovers where I actually feel like they’re enemies. Every time Blake (bad fantasy name btw), was around, Medra was too busy talking about how hot he was, and her words about how much she disliked him had no impact. I will read the next one because I already own it. But it’s on thin ice.
