I’ve been trying to remember what movie it is, where this guy is in slow-motion waving someone away, silently screaming for them to turn back. The scene is POV, so he’s directly facing the camera. It’s a really haunting scene. Thrashing in suspended animation, his warning unheard. I couldn’t get this image out of my mind while Stoner is about to marry this lady. God help me, I think it’s Jeepers Creepers 2

I found the long-lost final chapter of Stoner!
Chapter XVIII:
“And then he woke up and the last 20-so years of his life were just a bad dream. He put his wife and his crippled colleague in the Rack Trap from Saw III, and he lived happily ever after.”

Bro just hit this annoying pissant with “Name three medieval dramas…”
Man I know Stoner’s whole deal is that his entire life is miserable and nothing goes right for him, but I’m really happy for this win here. This is like watching Captain America catch Thor’s hammer

“Thus he found it possible to live, and even to be happy, now and then.”
I’m gonna write a fan sequel where he puts his wife in “The Rack” trap from Saw 3

I’m reminded of a quote by Abraham Lincoln:
“I am now the most miserable man living. If what I feel were equally distributed to the whole human family, there would not be one cheerful face on earth.”
This book rocks
