I love the character analysis part of these books. I don’t like when they try to analyze the psychology of the fandom or fans. Like… I get it, but I’m here because I like the show, not because I like the fandom. In fact, fandom can really suck sometimes, knowing why (which I do from precious psychology books like this) doesn’t change anything for me personally.

Okay, I have to say, this bumped down some points for me because those last two essays read more like social commentary and less like psychological analysis. Which, is fine, but not what I picked this book up for. You know?
