Starting to get quite tricky to follow in parts, since the last update Augustine has moved on from history and grief and relationships to discussions on memory, Will, and pursuit of happiness. Very interesting however will have to re-read on paper to get a finer grasp on these subjects.

There is nothing new under the sun. Augustine’s topics are timeless and bring to attention that the things of the past are still SO relevant today. It would be chronologically chauvinistic to say that the same problems faced in the early Church are not faced now.
