Finished Volume 3! 527 pages. Interesting look at Christianity and a few good emperors but for the most part lots of repetitive bad ones. And so many crazy groups of barbarians

So far I have enjoyed volume 1 more than I thought for something written in 1776. Gibbons keeps a decent narrative that keeps my interest
