I feel like a rabid fangirl at this point but I will never NOT recommend Suanne Laqueur 😂 Her stories are pure empathy in book form. But! It also depends on how you are with litfic 👀 It's not a genre I usually go for, a bit out of my comfort zone, but these books somehow always end up among my top reads, challenging me in ways other genres aren't able to.
