Reading this after finishing Into the Unbeing a day or so ago says something about my interest in eco-horror/sci-fi exploration, huh? I enjoyed Stages of Rot (and Blood Caudex) a lot! I love how we got to see what happens to the carcass of the whale (being ravaged and looted, used as a home, etc.) and the different groups of people coming there (I think that they’re one of the strongest parts of this story)
