This one lived up to the hype. I listened to the audiobook, and the voice for Carl was a cross between Matthew McConaughey and Christopher Walken, which didn’t quite match to a 27 year old in my head, but it seems to work.
Princess Donut is the perfect influencer, Carl is a fabulous protagonist to bust expectations and stereotypes.
I’m hooked and ready for book two.
