allriiiiiiiiiiiiight this is starting to be really difficult to read again

This is reading a lot quicker than my last several attempts.

Esther and Buddy and the world are still as awful as I remember but there is some nice prose and I'm actually following the story this time.

attempt 600 (4) of reading this book.... question is should I try picking up where I left off 2 years ago? I don't know if I have the mental fortitude to start over but I don't know if I remember enough important details to just pick up halfway...

Esther is utterly unlikable and constantly speaks as if she is your inner demon. The self harm descriptions are getting a little too much for me, I might put this down for a while

Esther is so obnoxious
But the general cynicism is fairly relatable
