I think I expected a crime junkie fix, but I’m getting run on sentences, family history with unknown relevance, the F word, and at least 5 words that I had to look up so far. I thought the point was clear after chapter 4 and was prepared to give up at the end of chapter 5, but I think I may have found the new(?) point… Maybe.
