Continually getting more invested. I know it’s an inspired story and maybe not meant to be as much about the anthropology as the stories of love in Nell’s life but I find some of the commentary on western culture so spot on.

Just ran across a quote I loveddddd when discussing science—might put it on a poster

SO much better reading than trying to listen to the audiobook.
I’m grossed out by “Fenn” the husband already and very intrigued by Nell and what she’ll have to share eventually (maybe) about their experience with the Mumbanyo
