I wonder what happened to Tommy after he left the library he’s completely different now, I though he died or something. Malone tho is getting on my nerves omg yall already killed his father leave the man and suydam alone already.

So I was right Ma Att is some kind of which, and I think Tommy may have gotten himself into trouble I hope he’s ok. Part two is about the detective Malone so I have no idea if we going to see what happens to Tommy.

I knew Ma Art would get her revenge but getting is father killed was crazy. The officer and detective need to go like now, the way Mr Howard described killing his father was sick. But this was really the average life for black peoples after slavery and still today.

It’s getting better!!! This Robert guy got some type of magic. A sleeping king? And if he wakes him he will be rewarded. And if he wakes so will all the minorities?? I hope I’m understanding this correctly.

I really like this book, I’m guessing the yellow book Tommy gave Ma Att was some spell book or something she’s not happy he took the last page tho. And the whole thing with the white man is fishy. Tommy can’t sing why you paying him $400 to sing at your house?? And he under investigation?? I don’t trust it I bet it’s a set up.

I like it so fair I’ve very curious about why Tommy smuggles books for white people.
