This book has too much story, not enough plot

Mmmmmm, too much on the nose for me with the pendant. Also negative points for making me read the title of the book as dialog. We are gonna keep going though I'm having fun otherwise!

Oooof, chapter 1 is not good but I get that we need to make FMC desperate and a loser for the fantasy. I will allow it because of chapter 2 and 3.
