Rereading this text again to refresh my memory and prepare for next semester as a NEW doctoral student.
As I return to the classroom, this line from page 3 introduction felt personal to me and my drive to get back into academia:
“Unlike theoretical physics or literary theory, it is hard to escape geography. Once you’re a geographer, particularly one interested in theory, you always are a geographer.”
