Near relentless violence and abhorent brutality; the kill games analogous to a colisseum with gladiators except no evenly matched opponents, just armed sadistic sociopaths snuffing out real lives. Never a dull moment and Roxie as seductive and deadly as ever. Riveting read so far.

Nearly finished with this compelling read by Bryan Smith. Truly a rollercoaster ride of action and difficult to make a confident prediction of the ending. Please also refer to HGW Horror Club Buddy Read entries. I am partial to Rob and Roxie but their surviving the killing games in Sunny California is debatable. Likewise the other duo in the final game. Not a boring second in this road trip of murder and mayhem.

Began reading late last night figuratively and literally and I hate that! My life has been more melodramatic than a Shakespearean comedy or tragedy. Not sure which. I am gradually "placing" each relevant character as I read this sequel. Loved the original novel especially Roxie. Hope Smith meets the bar he set. But truthfully I would settle for "close" in this case!
