Changing things up by trying my hand at learning some of the PRC's background.
The beginning two sections of this first part provide a synopsis of late Qing history, starting specifically with the Taiping Rebellion, to set a framework for historiographical analysis as the empire collapsed into warlordism. The later two sections segue into covering the CCP's early struggles and the formation of Maoism as an ideology.
