Giving this book a little reread!

idk how I feel about Xavier as a main character, he feels a little too cocky and quirky and self-important?? idk, I don't hate him but he isn't endearing😭

I'm impartial to rom-coms, but generally I like how laid back they are and the low-stakes they have! However, Kosoko Jackson's writing style just isn't for me, I think? IDK, I feel so ehhh about pop culture references in books (depending on story's contexts, what the story is, etc.) since I feel like that kind of stuff can really date a book - and not for the better :/ and there's references like every other sentence
