Was craving Gogol’s writing, so decided to read a short story in Russian. I’m a bit rusty, but breezed through it—a testament to Gogol’s signature simplicity.

Not that I actually enjoy the content of his works. I find myself enjoying his language style rather than what he actually says. Lots of rhythm and clever choices.
