With every page I read, I hate these characters and this writing more and more. This man has a girlfriend and also how dare he look down on a local pub because it's not posh enough for his taste nor "worthy of" Camille? What does that even mean when it is a perfectly pleasant place and she's going there to meet a friend, not suck on this man's silver spoon?

What the hell is this woman's motivation for not letting a working professional come and go as she pleases? Make this book make sense, I beg of you
