Ummmmm.....I finally picked up the second book of this series. I started a while ago partially remembering what book 1 was about, but not the ending. Straight emotional damage the whole time and I'm 10% in. I now remember how book 1 ended. With emotional damage for the end with a cliffy. 😭😭😭 it may be why I paused it
