Promised myself I would read this tome before year's end.

My hubbie and I have watched the mini-series at least a handful of times! So I did not have a big "hankering" to read the novel. But when I mentioned to my virtual book club that I would be weaving classics into my reading this year the younger gals in my club (in their 30s and early 40s jumped in to encourage me to read Lonesome Dove.
Thinking it will be perhaps at least September before I start.
