okay, that was kind of a rocky first chapter… so many names were introduced and little tidbits about a plethora of other worlds that i ended the chapter confused.
hopefully this doesn’t go for the rest of the book. i felt a lot of politics more than jainan’s grief, though i assume that it’s intentional to let us know that, even in mourning, the world (or worlds) moves on. fast.

i’ve been wondering so much about this book; i’m now reading this for pleasure & enjoyment, but also research.
reason being: i’m also in the early stages of plotting out my own MM intergalactic, cosmic romantasy. i hope this book can become one of my favorites and the rekindling i needed to start writing again.
