I will always a plot from multiple point of views and individual plot lines. As a reader, I have access to all of the characters thoughts and emotions. I like this but sometimes I get confused keeping them straight.

Great writing. Lyrical, descriptive. I love the information about heir property and Black family. I can tell the author did her research.

The audacity of this woman turn her nose up at “poor people and fried chicken” when she can’t turn her nose away from her boss’s 🍆…🫤.
Hurt people hurt but this one is broken.

The writing is poetic. I feel such sadness that Junior cannot live his truth with Simon. My heart breaks for them both and silently weeps for them.
