I love the audacity of a 26 year old to be annoyed at her mum for trying to get her a job. This mentality of the pandemic really screwed me over PERSONALLY is actually insane and fucking be nice to your mum, you’ve been living rent free in her home for 5 years. I honestly don’t know if Kate’s FMC’s are just young and I can’t relate or they’re just shit humans with no sense of accountability

So I really didn’t like the authors first book but this was an afterlight pick and now I have this one 😬 already the main character is killing me with the victim mentality and 5 years of inaction. I’ll read more tomorrow but my expectations are on the ground 🤦🏻‍♀️
