We have to read a book set in WWII for school, and I read this one in 5th grade. The only thing I remember about it is that I really liked it, so I'm reading it again. And who knows? My opinion might change reading this with eyes with more experience rather than my innocent 5th grade self. Reading this daily is giving flashbacks to my first experiences sneak-reading in class.
