I’m honestly so confused

I’m sorry I just can’t imagine characters “barring their teeth” at people

Even though I’ve forgotten most of what happened in the OG series, I’m still enjoying this! I do remember that Suren was my favorite character in the trilogy, so it’s been great reading about her!

Randomly decided to pick this up lol. It’s been like three years since I read The Cruel Prince series though, so is there anything important I need to remember for the context of this book?
