Seriously cooking with gas now, every chapter is just a banger. Jaimes lost his hand, aryas soon to be with the hound, Daenerys away to get the unsullied. I liked the story of the night of the laughing tree, I do think it was probably howland and I liked the seeds for Ned and Ashara Dayne. Davos chapter wasn’t the greatest but Jon having the internal turmoil is so good.

Really picking up steam now, sam killing the white walker, tyrion and Cersei being married off and Robb’s downfall in full whack are so good to read. Arya and Sansa being in sticky situations aswell is so interesting to read

Some really strong chapters in this section. Davos being vengeful and Arya falling in with the brotherhood was good. Robb being a king and making his flaw is good but long when you know where it’s going. Exact same with Tyrion and Shae and my god I love Jon snow he’s just the goat.

I like the longer chapters change up because there’s so much going on rn. Jon beyond the wall, bran navigating where to go, jorah giving some good advice then ruining it instantly and then olenna Tyrell with a banger intro

Solid start to the book, chett being cowardly while going to kill Sam and calling him one was good. The start of the Jaime brienne course is good and catelyn being confined is solid. Also a big fan of when you can tell the dialogue is so good that they just copy from page to screen with Tyrion and Tywin
