I feel somewhat bad giving a good writer 2 stars. There is no plot or character interaction. There is no continuity. It should be named Orbital: thoughts from space, or something to that effect. There is some beautiful imagery, metaphors and observations. I think a book like this needs to be read slowly as prose should be. Not for me.
