My issue lies in Mason’s insistence on referring to her baby as "his son." While clearly intended to show ultimate commitment, it feels like a unilateral decision that ignores her current boundaries. She consistently pushes him away. Claiming a parental role before a relationship is established between them crosses a line from supportive to intrusive, which I don’t like.
