Wonder Woman V2 #61 -
An issue were a drunk Indelicato tells Julia what Cheetah told him.
Was this previously seen? Seems like a little too much plot for just flashbacks.
Superman is the one to stop the fighter jets from bombing Paradise Island!
Clark regrets not doing anything to help Diana when she was alive. But with a passionate speech tells his fellow heroes that her dream of peace must live on!

An issue about what happens next… As in asking the question.
Diana wonders where she should spend most of her time, in ‘Man’s World’ or home in Themyscira.
While some Amazons wish to leave it for a more isolated location, now that there is no barrier between the outside world and Paradise island.
Vanessa graduates and the ‘Wonder Woman’ comic book writer pens a goodbye letter.

How do some characters just know things, I feel like I’m missing something.
But there were SO many words!! This felt so long, when I don’t think it really needs to be.
I did like that there were so many heroes that made little cameos.
Anyway, Circe was defeated and Cronus absorbed(?) Hecate’s spirit.
Then the Greek gods went through a portal to worlds that actually need them.

I know this is a long issue but this one felt looong.
So much jumping between different locations, seeing characters interact with enemies and allies.
Phantom Stranger does call this a convoluted plot!
I don’t know how to summarise all that happened.
The end sees the barrier between worlds shattered.
On Themysceria, Circe uses the clay that gave Diana life, to destroy her!

I know this is a long issue but this one felt looong.
So much jumping between different locations, seeing characters interact with enemies and allies.

Circe is quite upset that her Amazonian prisoners have escaped. But even more so that Julia did as well!
Cheetah, who mauled the men watching Vanessa, demands to speak to Diana. Indelicato doesn't know where she is.
Batman tells D the chalice he found is a fake. Which takes her to the remains of Bana-Mighdall.
Diana doesn’t fight Lobo but who IS her opponent is shocking!

Mostly, just a bunch of heroes fighting different Pantheons of gods.
It is cool to see so many heroes. Even heroes I didn’t expect to see, like Firestorm!
Also unexpected, Black Adam roaming around and plotting…
The mystics use Diana and Geo-Force, as the Earth’s ‘body and soul’ to temporarily settle the earthquakes.
It also seems to make the warring gods disappear?
Lots happening!

I feel a bit better about reading the tie-ins because some of them were flashed to in this.
Anyway, the American government believes the Amazons have been lying about their intentions and have secretly created sleeper agents?
Edward gets mad, assuming Diana didn’t try hard enough to convince Batman to let him help.

Heracles stayed behind to be Themyscira’s protector…
Good thing too because Atlas threatens the island!
Soon though, the Titan realises the young god is not who he thinks he is. After that revelation, Atlas disappears!
Which traps Heracles holding up the Amazon’s island!
Diana wound up at Insp. Indelicato’s place. Who really wants to help.

A monster breaks free, heading straight to Metropolis!
