“The husband stitch”
So confusing yet so charming. The narrator is playing the role of a woman so well i keep thinking if she is lying to herself (& thus to me, the reader) about her desires & joy. Was all that just a fabrication (probably was)
Why is the piece titles “husband stitch”? My guess: bc though being a small detail it ties tgt how she was never heard.
The ribbon? A woman’s identity?Pain?Secrets?
