Reading this book with my eyes crossed and drool pouring out of my mouth bc I genuinely feel like an illiterate baby reading this but it’s fun! I’m enjoying it but I also hate it. Fuck whiskeyjack tho. Gtfoomff, and let me read abt my girl Tattersail or Lorn or Crone. All the girl characters r 10 times better than the boys yet there r ten boys for every girl… 🥲

Starting to get alot more into this book! Still makes no fucking sense and they kee just introducing characters and I don’t remember anything but Erickson is a good enough writer that I’m really enjoying it.

Un DNF’ing this book because I think I’m jut gonna keep this as an occasional read. I can’t read too much at a time because it genuinely makes sense but I love the characters and prose enough to give a go at it every now and then. I know when I finally start understanding things I’m gonna love this series a lot.

Probably gonna DNF this for now... I really liked what I've read so far, but I'm in the middle of the most insane ASOIAF death grip I've ever experienced and I simply cannot read in another fantasy world (that isn't Mid-World). Really enjoyed this series and it'll probably be my next series after I finished Extended ASOIAF and The Dark Tower
