This is possibly the scariest book I've ever read, and I've only just started it. My advice so far to those thinking of reading it: go slow, and take breaks and deep breaths.

I heard the author in conversation last night. It sounded like a book that requires a fair bit of resilience!

I would have loved to go to that event. Yes it's definitely challenging me in a way that a book hasn't before. One to be taken in small gulps, not only because of the subject matter but to savour her beautiful writing.
