So far, this book has been such a page-turner that I am already halfway through in less than 24 hours. Tate’s POV definitely got so much better and I can’t deny, I’m liking it better than Cassie’s now, but we’ll see where the tides take us. Also, I have a gut feeling that Cassie’s mom is the cheerleader that dated Tate’s dad in their youth, and it’s bound to complicate things.

I honestly enjoyed it more than I expected. The final six chapters weren’t a huge surprise since the author dropped enough hints for me to piece the reveal together, but it didn’t take away from the twist at all. I was still completely hooked. My only critique is that the last two chapters felt too short. Since this was the final book in the series, I wanted a more proper closure to their love story.

I’m really loving this book! At this point, I don’t have a single fav character - they’re both great. Cassie’s mom’s sudden change in behaviour (after reading the newspaper) gives me an impression that she might be the cheerleader. But overall, this books is such an easy read - even with the smut.

Love Cassie!! She is goofy and naive at times but she is very aware of that - and jokes about it. Not that Tate isn’t an engaging character, it’s just more entertaining to see things from her point of view.
