I am trying SO hard to figure out what is going on beyond the prison walls. I think the rebel cause is corrupt and the government system is corrupt.
Prediction: Jaren is a royal sibling and the three of them are working together to save the kingdom? They’re looking for the true rebel queen to unite with? So they found Kiva? But how is Kiva’s sis involved? Because she’s the one doing the notes and symbols…

I really like how there’s 3 points of focus right now. The illness, the trials, the rebels. Something is off about the rebel situation. There’s no way Tilda is the rebel queen, right? Did she get sent in with the stomach bug as a distraction? I can’t remember when the illness started ahhh. I’m overthinking everything rn. Also the trials/fantasy aspect are the last thing on my mind which is crazy!!
