Status Update

NOTHING HAS HAPPENED! I’m almost 60% in and nothing has happened. The chapters are full of repetitions and unnecessary and vague flashbacks. Every interaction between the characters feels forced and cringe. For a group of young people who are supposed to be the best in wht they do, they get into stupid trouble that could easily be avoided, and the solutions just fall in their laps

I had to switch to audio. General feeling right now is that there are too many filler chapters that don’t actually add to the story. Also I’m on chapter 20 which is over halfway, but the book is supposed to have 60 chapters, the pacing is so frustrating already
