Continues to be an excellent book about environmental economics and how we can rethink both nature, wealth and human potential. (Despite the sensationalistic title)

This book is putting together bibs and bobs of what I've read and heard elsewhere into a much needed cohesive whole. AND it's very easy to read!

No academic language or screechy activist rhetoric. Just a calm, conversational tone explaining how the media and gov narrative is skewered bullshit and why.

PHENOMENAL so far! The opening chapter reframes the glorifying narratives that are common to history and econ textbooks in a very easy to understand and clear fashion. Extremely eye-opening on the deep thought layers of civilisation vs savagery and capitalism vs the people.

I'm always wary that books dealing with economics and political systems I'll not be able to understand due to jargon and academic language, but this seems to be written in human, so I'm hopeful!
