Short story called: Dance of the Dead takes place in St. Louis, and the characters consistently call it "The St. Lou." I live in St. Louis, and I can tell you with full confidence that nobody calls it that. It would be "The Lou" instead..no St. That was very jarring and annoying for me 😅
