Today I was listening to a song I love and the opening lyric is “If I send this void away, have I lost a part of me?” The song is about the artist’s struggle with finding fulfillment amid success. “Cause getting made you want more, and hoping made you hurt more- oh, there must be something wrong with me.”
I’ve been looking for ways to find wonder and become who I used to be when I was content.

I don’t want to stop reading because for the first time it really seems like someone gets where I am and really knows how it feels. Holy cow. That’s way more jarring than I could have expected. I do think I need to take some time to think about what I’ve read before I continue. I could 100% blaze through the rest of this book today but I’m not going to… Hopefully
