I am slowly realizing how great prose isn't necessary for a book to hook you.

Just finished chapter 15. This book knows how to hold its grip on you. So many emotions, many of them unfortunatly are described very clearly and are almost never implied, which takes away from the immersion, but even despite the amature prose, this book can grip and hold tight. The fast pacing is still handled very well.

Best chapter so far (chapter 10).
Battle was written so immersingly and clearly. A character died which added to the feel of stakes.
Was on the verge of tears.
Might still be written a bit amaturely but definetly was less felt now and immersed me in the story to whole new level.
Also very fast paced so far and I am loving it.
