The murder mystery elements are building. A great way of having an overarching mystery that is well beyond the main character's skill level to solve while keeping smaller mysteries to keep the plot moving. The origin/cure to the pandemic is unsolvable (world built) but it stays character focused which is incredible.

Ngl thought the story was pointing towards queer character writing, and they still might be bi, but there is a high likelihood that I am incorrect. Setting and plot development is top notch though! Really enjoying this one.

Small cast of characters makes the isolation that much stronger. HEAVY depiction of homophobia and violence against women so far though so I would never recommend this to people sensitive to these issues as it would be very upsetting.
