Narrative flow is a bit jarring at the beginning - descriptions of character introductions need developing to flow better. Being told the info so it sticks out rather than being woven with the narrative. Writer experience will help to develop this. Too P.E.E.
Once I got into it this bothered me less, the tone becomes less YA and actually starts to form and flow better - story is so far really well fleshed out.
