I am pleasantly surprised by the writing in this book. Isabel knows how to take words and turn them into sentences that I find myself noting and wanting to memorize. She describes dogs, places and people with poetry like phrases. I am constantly reading them aloud to my husband at times with tears and other times in just awe of the beauty of her writing.
