Arvelle gets blackmailed into entering a trial. Vampire Bran will heal her sick bro, if she wins, becomes a guard (?) And kills the emperor. She won a trial six yrs ago, lost her bff, and bf left. She hasn't fought since. And isn't the same. She manipulated the dad of the fren, into training her. He blames her. I assume the bf comes back? The trials? We'll see.
