I loved the writing style, but that was honestly the only thing I enjoyed. Vera is only 60, yet she acts much older. I’m also tired of the whole “older generations did everything better”. And the logic just didn’t work for me — this woman with no real experience suddenly thinks she can solve a crime better than the police? I will most likely DNR book but i am too lazy to find other book
