I adore the way she writes. It’s very much like a stream of consciousness and it’s observationally deep. Forces you to slow down and kind of chew the words to be certain you understand the flavor of them. And it’s talking about Skye and the Outer Hebrides lighthouse which reminded me of the Black House and that other lighthouse book.
