this is so far the best version of the "what if (insert magic world here) had guns?" trope

things i'm pondering before i start reading again for the day : how are the mists back, is preservation back?, who is the lord mistborn, spook...?, are anyone still mistborn or is twinborn = mistborn in this era?, what's the deal with koloss how do they still exist?, who is marasi's dad?, are the roughs = the pits?, who are "the hands of Harmony" or is that just some new religion thing that doesnt mean anything?

just finished chapter 6. writing down the percentage and seeing im already a third of the way through compared to the stormlight shenanigans is wild. i already love these guys

was really excited to finally start listening to this and i'm in the middle of getting immersed in the prologue and intro and then halfway into chapter 2 my boss who isnt even MY boss shows up and tells me i have to babysit/present to special guests all day with fifteen minutes notice. don't you know i have BOOKS TO READ smh
