This chapter was why I bought the book. It describes the prophecy in the book of Daniel which describes the four kingdoms that would rule over the Jews before God institutes His eternal kingdom.
Historically, this "kingdom" was the Roman Empire, which was prophesied to be given to the saints of the Lord, which it was.

Given the author's Anglican background, he briefly explains the "apostolic origins" of the Church of England, that being many traditions of the church in England being started by either St John or St Linus (the second Pope.)
