I really wanted to like this book but it is so mawkish and adolescent. Ugh ugh ugh.
Interesting premise but plays out like King Arthur fan fiction. Is that a thing? Would have benefited from editing and a writer who could write descriptions. Every character, including the main ones, is flat. Cringeworthy lines like “she wanted to lay her whole body on top of him and her heart heaved at the thought of it.” Nope
