Okay, perhaps I was a bit harsh. Now that I’ve gotten into the storyline more I am enjoying this book. It’s still rather silly with its use of obscure language but I am definitely feeling the pull of wanting to read on. If anything the language it uses balances out the feeling of it being just for teens haha

So far, not loving this book. Don’t get me wrong the plot is an interesting concept and to be fair, rather addicting to read but, I am not meshing with this writing style. It uses its over intellectual language in a way that is almost forced and unrealistic. Like… what teenage boy would use such words lmao. I suppose it makes sense to show his love of words blah blah but it’s proving to be a struggle to read
